Line Kick — Privacy Policy
Line Kick is an online paper-soccer game made by Pavel Metsko (“we”). This policy explains what data the game uses, why, and what you can do about it. We collect only what the game needs to work, to stay fair, and to keep running.
1. What we collect
- Game account. When you first open the game an anonymous account is created for you. If you choose to link Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive the account identifier and the email address that provider shares (with Apple you may hide your real email).
- Public profile. Your nickname, country (from your device region), outfit, league, match record, achievements and recent matches. Other players can see these — that is the point of a public profile, leaderboards and the weekend cup.
- Gameplay. The moves of your online matches, results, rating, coins, gems, items, season pass progress and daily quests, stored on our servers so the game can judge matches and keep your progress.
- Purchases. For in-app purchases we receive the store’s transaction record (product, transaction id, date) to deliver what you bought. We never see your payment card.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, a push token for your device, and whether the game is in the background, so we can tell you when an opponent is found or it is your move.
- Device and app version. The platform (iOS or Android), the phone model, the operating system version and the version of the game, so we can tell which devices a problem affects. Kept on our servers and not shown to other players.
- Analytics and crash reports. Anonymous usage events (for example “match started”) and crash reports, linked to your game account id, to fix bugs and improve the game. We do not use the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) for analytics.
- Advertising. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your consent and region, Google may use device identifiers and similar data to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK we ask for your consent first and you can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy settings.
2. Why we use it
- To run the game: matchmaking, judging moves on the server, saving your progress.
- To be fair: detecting players who leave matches or cheat, and applying the game’s rules.
- To deliver purchases and rewards exactly once.
- To fix crashes and understand which features are used.
- To show ads in the free version, as described above.
The legal bases (EU/UK GDPR) are the performance of our contract with you (running the game), our legitimate interest (security, fairness, fixing bugs) and your consent (personalised ads, notifications).
3. Who processes it
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Hosting) — our servers and infrastructure.
- Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform — ads and consent.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — payments and purchase verification.
These providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. Store transaction records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. Crash reports and analytics are kept according to Firebase’s retention settings (at most 14 months for analytics).
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the game: Settings → Delete account. Your profile, progress and inventory are deleted; match records you took part in remain for the other player, without your profile.
- Turn notifications off in your device settings; change ad consent in Settings → Privacy settings.
- You may ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, and complain to your data protection authority.
6. Children
Line Kick is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this page when the game changes what it collects. See also the Terms of Use. Questions and requests: decimagamepl@gmail.com.
